MIX '06

I'm at mix this week in Las Vegas. So far the information is not much different then what you've seen at the PDC, if you were there last year. However, it seems that this is a very different audience. A group that includes designers, web developers and others who haven't seen these technologies yet. The audience in the keynote seemed to be very excited about what they saw.

My favorite part was an unscripted interview between Tim O'Reilly and Bill Gates. It started out a little awkward, with a few odd questions from Tim that seemed to try to win the crowd or put Bill off balance. Once he got more comfortable, it turned into an exciting conversation between two very intelligent technologists.

I've had some cool conversations with people and it's been fun. More to come...
